Darren Hollingsworth, Englewood’s Economic Development Manager, works with entrepreneurs find the resources necessary to start and grow their businesses. Darren recently oversaw the repositioning of the City’s economic development program to better serve the changing needs of the business community. He is constantly looking for opportunities to leverage local resources and cultivate partnerships to enhance the economic vitality of Englewood. Darren has 25 years of experience in the field of economic development.
Darren holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Henderson State University and is certified as an Economic Development Finance Professional through the National Development Council.
When Darren is not working to support Englewood businesses he enjoys cooking, camping, and spending time with his wife Holly and their two Scottish terriers. Darren is very proud of his son, Stewart, who is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force as a Weather Analyst.
